LONDON, July 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ —

(http://www.globalenergysystems.co.uk), welcome today’s announcement on the Renewable Heat Incentive. Any progress towards the launching of the scheme will have a positive impact on our business and the sector.

The confirmation that air source heat pumps will be included in the Non-Domestic RHI is a welcome boost. Air source heat pumps have the potential to provide low intervention, carbon reducing solutions to many commercial heating needs. This will level the playing field between air source and bio-mass and ground source heat pumps. Air source heat pumps already account for the bulk of RHPP payments and should now grow to represent a considerable part of the commercial market.

Details of the Domestic RHI will allow consumers to invest with a far greater degree of confidence. The announced rates of 7.3p/kWh offer a real contribution over a 7 year period and should kick start the market and are seen by us as fair. Domestic properties are ideal projects for air source and offer a quick easy to install route to emission reductions.

Daniel White, Commercial Consultant at Global Energy Systems commented:

„Air source heat pumps offer reductions in emissions and bills, particularly for the smaller commercial and domestic market. The confirmation of the RHI details means that our customers can now bring their investment decisions forward and commit to their renewable energy projects. We see Domestic RHI payments of around £1000 a year for an average home as fair and sustainable.”

Air source heat pumps are a renewable energy source for heating and hot water. They work all year round, in all weather conditions, to reduce the energy use and carbon emissions of a property. Homes off the mains gas grid can see savings of up to 60% on energy bills.

With the recent increase in the Renewable Heat Premium Payment to £1300 for an air source heat pump the Government are increasing the incentives to invest now ahead of the launch of the Renewable Heat Incentive in 2014.

Air source heat pumps can work with any type of building offering full or bivalent solutions for heating and hot water. Global Energy Systems as an MCS accredited manufacturer and installer of our own heat pumps can offer energy savings plans tailored to your property.

Global Energy Systems is a British, renewable energy manufacturer and installer supported by over 50 years of international engineering experience. Three generations have been involved in the company, each innovating and developing engineering excellence.

The last seven years have been dedicated to the development of heat pump, renewable energy technology through high performance, specifically air source heat pumps. Our British designed and built Eco Air Boilers heat pumps provide central heating and hot water and can reduce carbon emissions by up to 60% and heating bills by up to 60%. They are designed and built to work specifically with the UK climate and to outperform LPG, oil and electric systems for the duration of their 25 year life.

Global Energy Systems was recently awarded a Shell Springboard Award for our work on carbon reducing technologies. Shell described us as „A new player in the race against time to find alternative sources of energy.”
